Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") carefully before using the Loonie Ticket Hub website. This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the Site and our lottery services.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: You must be at least 19 years of age and physically located within an eligible Canadian province or territory to purchase tickets on this website. Using a VPN or proxy to bypass geolocation controls is strictly prohibited and will result in account termination.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account, accessing, or using any part of Loonie Ticket Hub (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Responsible Play Policy. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services.

2. Eligibility and Registration

2.1 Age and Residency

The Service is available only to individuals who are:

  • At least 19 years old (or the legal gambling age in your specific jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
  • Residents of Canada or physically present in Canada at the time of purchase.
  • Not prohibited from gambling by any court order or self-exclusion program.

2.2 Account Verification (KYC)

To comply with Canadian anti-money laundering regulations, we reserve the right to verify your identity at any time. This may include requesting copies of government-issued photo ID (e.g., Driver's License, Passport) and proof of address. Failure to provide this documentation may result in the suspension of your account and withholding of winnings.

2.3 One Account Policy

You may only open one account with Loonie Ticket Hub. If we suspect that a user has multiple accounts (e.g., to abuse bonuses or bypass limits), we reserve the right to close all related accounts and void any winnings.

3. Purchasing Tickets

3.1 Ticket Sales

All ticket sales are final. Once a ticket purchase has been confirmed and recorded in our central computer system, it cannot be cancelled or refunded, except as expressly provided in these Terms or required by law.

3.2 Pricing and Payment

Ticket prices are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD). We accept payments via Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard), Debit, and Interac e-Transfer. You warrant that you are the authorized user of the payment method provided.

3.3 Cut-Off Times

Ticket sales for a specific draw close exactly at the "Draw Break" time (typically 7:30 PM local time on the day of the draw). Any purchase attempt processed after this time will automatically be entered into the next available draw.

4. Game Rules and Results

4.1 Random Number Generation (RNG)

Draws are conducted using a certified Random Number Generator (RNG) or physical ball machines, audited by independent third-party firms to ensure fairness and randomness.

4.2 Official Records Prevail

Binding Authority: In the event of a discrepancy between the numbers displayed on your screen (or in an email) and the official records held on Loonie Ticket Hub's central secure servers, the official records on the server shall prevail.

We are not responsible for rendering errors, browser caching issues, or internet connectivity problems that may display incorrect results on your device.

5. Prizes and Claims

5.1 Claiming Winnings

Prizes must be claimed within 12 months of the draw date. Unclaimed prize money will be redistributed according to provincial regulations (often returned to the prize pool or donated to charity).

5.2 Prize Thresholds

  • Up to $600: Credited automatically to your user account balance.
  • $600 to $25,000: Requires a withdrawal request and additional identity verification.
  • Over $25,000 (Major Prizes): Must be claimed in person or via a specialized secure process. Major winners may be required to participate in publicity (photo/name release) as a condition of receiving the prize, subject to privacy laws.

5.3 Taxation

Lottery winnings are generally not taxable in Canada for residents. However, Loonie Ticket Hub does not provide tax advice. You are solely responsible for any tax reporting duties in your specific jurisdiction.

6. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and constitute a material breach of this Agreement:

  1. Using a VPN, proxy, or location spoofer to disguise your location.
  2. Attempting to manipulate the lottery software or website code.
  3. Colluding with other players or using automated bots to purchase tickets.
  4. Using a payment method that does not belong to you (Credit Card fraud).
  5. Harassing support staff or other players.

7. Limitation of Liability

Loonie Ticket Hub, its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.
  • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
  • Technical failures, server downtime, or delayed transmission of data.
  • Any errors in the display of odds or prize amounts.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of this Agreement shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific ticket giving rise to the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, is the property of Loonie Ticket Hub and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

9. Responsible Gaming

We are committed to providing a safe environment. We provide tools for:

  • Deposit Limits: Cap how much you can deposit per week/month.

If you choose to self-exclude, you agree not to attempt to open a new account. We are not liable for losses if you circumvent our exclusion tools.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario.

11. Amendments
